How We Are Different
A Plan That Works to Keep Your Loved Ones Out of Court and Out of Conflict

Planning for Life

At most estate planning firms, the attorney-client relationship ends when you sign your documents and walk out the door. For us, however, the signing of your documents is just the beginning. We can best serve you and support your goals as your trusted advisor, rather than merely your document preparer. We want to be there for you and your family, not just now, but throughout your lives, to offer guidance as your situation changes and assets grow.

Life is not static, it changes, and your plan will only be effective if it keeps up with those changes. That’s why we offer a complementary plan review every three years for all our clients. But it’s not just your financial assets we’re concerned about. We know your most important assets are the intangibles you’ve created throughout your life. We’ll help you preserve and pass on your love, knowledge, stories, experiences, and wisdom for your children (and your children’s children). We want you to leave a lasting legacy and help your family build wealth – real wealth – from generation to generation.

Build a Relationship

We don’t tell you how to plan. We educate you and work closely with you to design a plan that fits your personal situation and family goals. But it won’t end there. We continue to work closely with you even after you sign your documents, to ensure all your assets are properly transferred and protected by your plan. You’ll also have a full 90 days to make changes to your planning documents at no additional charge. And of course, we’ll be available to answer any questions you have about your plan, again, at no additional charge.

Your family members are encouraged to participate. We provide family meetings to explain your plan to your family members and/or successor trustees so they’ll understand exactly how your plan will carry out your wishes in the future. We also offer many additional services to ensure your plan is the right plan for you and your family: kids protection planning, pet trusts, and NFA gun trusts, just to name a few.

What to Expect

We want to help you prepare for life and the curveballs it throws. We understand you are very busy, your family is growing, and you need a lawyer who makes things easy, convenient, and efficient. You want to know your plan will work for your loved ones when they need it most. You want to protect and provide for your children, no matter what. You want to make sure your assets go to those you want them to go to, and to preserve and pass on your family legacy for generations to come.

Your goals are our focus - and goals may change.  We’ll maintain communication with you throughout your life and we encourage you to contact us with any questions. We’ll ensure your estate plan grows and evolves right along with you so it will continue to work, just as you intend, throughout your life.

We have built in processes that get you financially organized, educate you, ensure that your assets get transferred, and keep your plan current. And unlike at traditional estate planning firms, all of our fees are flat fees that you choose based on the planning level that is right for your family.  You will never get an unexpected bill in the mail.

We also make sure that all your assets are transferred – even the intangibles. Most estate plans only transfer financial wealth. However, we believe your financial assets are only a minor part of the overall wealth you possess which is made up of your far more valuable intellectual, spiritual, and human assets. These are the things that are often lost forever when someone passes and we don’t want that to happen to you, or your children.

So if you’re ready for a unique estate planning experience that caters to your needs, supports your goals, and provides you with the peace of mind knowing your family is taken care of just as you intend, give us a call.

We look forward to knowing you and caring for your family soon!

“P.S. If you think this all sounds expensive, well you’re right and you’re wrong. I can guarantee you that if you qualify to meet with a Personal Family Lawyer®, this planning is substantially less costly than it would be for your family if you become incapacitated or die with a plan that doesn't work or if you don’t have a plan in place at all. I’ve never had a single family who believed in this kind of planning and wanted to put it in place for their loved ones leave my office because they couldn’t afford it. We’ve made creative financing available to our clients because we know that this planning is the foundation for a life of success!”
